Ellie loves to write and draw. Her favorite "toys" right now are cute notepads and pens. She loves writing words and wants to know how to spell everything. Here's a fun picture she drew of the family this morning.

So cute! And interesting: my mother-in-law talks about a book she read or class she took a long time ago about how to interpret kids drawings of their families. There are supposed to be meanings behind the sizes that they draw each family member, and the order that they draw them. I don't know much about it, but its really interesting.
